Over the past 3 years I have had the opportunity to try a number of different products from Trilogy. Trilogy has been a mix of hit and miss for me. I have already reviewed:
In this review I will share my experience on:
Mineral Radiance Mask
Rosapene Radience Serum
Rosehip Oil Light Blend
Trilogy Mineral Radiance Mask
Trilogy's Mineral Radiance Mask is predominantly a purifying and oil-absorbing mask, designed for oily/combination skin types. However, its non-drying nature makes it suitable for most skin types.
My experience: First impression - this mask stinks. The scent of kaolin is understandably prominent, but accompanied with it is the smell of old cooking oil. I had two of these. When I opened the first one I thought it went off, but a second and fresh tub smells just as bad. Despite the off-putting scent, it actually works really well.
Whenever I feel like a deep cleanse, I apply this mask on clean, moist skin. Even though it is a clay mask, it does not dry and crack like others. It remains moist no matter how long I left it on my skin. After rinsing the mask off, my skin feels refreshed without being dry or tight.
My skin type is normal and prone to dehydration. I use this up to twice a week depending on needs.
So far, this mask and the Rosehip Transformation Cleansing Oil are my top two picks from Trilogy. That said, while I will not hesitate to buy the Cleansing Oil again, I will be reluctant to purchase the Mineral Radiance Mask again because of its scent. User experience for me is as important as the result.

Trilogy Rosapene Radiance Serum
I have no idea what is "Rosapene", apart from Trilogy's description of it being "Trilogy's unique rosehip antioxidant complex", which doesn't really explain anything. Rosehip seed oil is a main ingredient in this serum, and rosehip oil in itself contains a good level of antioxidants (for more details on rose hip oil, read here).
My experience: The Trilogy scent just does not seem to get along with me. The serum has an earthy scent, but there was also something to it which was quite off-putting for me at the beginning. (Sorry, I am terrible at describing scent...) I did eventually (well into the second bottle) got used to it, so that it is no longer a deal-breaker. The serum has a milky consistency which is quite unusual. It almost feels like a thin lotion rather than a serum.
The serum does a good job in relieving skin tightness during the day, although I cannot say that my skin has improved in any way. In my mind, a serum should contain at least an "active" ingredient or a "hero" ingredient to make it the key to a skincare regimen. If I look at the list of ingredients without knowing what the actual product is, I would have guessed it is a day moisturiser. So while it is an "okay" product, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to others as a "serum".
Ingredients: Aqua (Water), Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice, Rosa Canina (Rosehip) Seed Oil, Glycerin (Vegetable), Cetearyl Olivate (and) Sorbitan Olivate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Benzyl Alcohol, Xanthan Gum, Parfum, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Solanum Lycopersicum (Tomato) Seed Oil, Euterpe Oleracea (Acai) Fruit Oil (and) Tocopherol, Alaria (Algae) Esculenta Extract, Dehydroacetic Acid (and) Benzyl Alcohol, Citric Acid, Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Extract, Vaccinium Macrocarpon (Cranberry) Seed Oil, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate (vitamin E), Citral, Citronellol, Farnesol, Geraniol, Limonene, Linalool, Dehydroacetic Acid (and) Benzyl Alcohol
Trilogy Rosehip Oil Light Blend
Having previously sampled Trilogy Rosehip Oil Antioxidant + and it seemed to work well for me (except for the scent), I had high hopes for the Light Blend version. The oil is described as "easily absorbed seed oil blend"and "lightweight", which sounds exactly what I would enjoy.
My experience: To my disappointment, even though I find this oil feels "light" in density, it does not get absorbed into my skin at all. It feels very greasy and swims around on my face all day, making layering of skin care and applying makeup difficult. The scent is surprisingly acceptable (a very subtle woody scent which is close to nothing). On the flip side the greasiness did not cause any skin congestion.
There are better rose hip oils at cheaper prices, so this one is a definitive "miss" for me.
Ingredients: Rosa Canina (Rosehip) Seed Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Coco-Caprylate, Solanum Lycopersicum (Tomato) Seed Oil, Vaccinium Macrocarpon (Cranberry) Seed Oil
This review was written based on my honest opinion after using:
more than 1 jar of Mineral Radiance Mask;
almost 2 bottles of Rosapene Radiance Serum (received from Beautyheaven's Glosscar marketplace); and
1 bottle of Rosehip Oil Light Blend (also received from Beautyheaven's Glosscar marketplace).
