Priceline 40% off skincare haul (August 2016)

The highly anticipated Priceline 40% of ALL skincare sale is finally here! It has been a crazily long wait for me because I missed the last one (I am positive that I was on another planet at that time, that being the only plausible reason for missing a 40% off skincare sale!). I am so excited to share my haul =D

Trilogy Makeup-Be-Gone Cleansing Balm 80mL RRP $38.99 Finally down to less than one quarter left in my bottle of cleansing oil in the bathroom (and let's pretend for a minute that I do not have another 400mL bottle and 3 travel size bottles as "back-up"), I have such a big reason (aka excuse) to finally give in and go with the hype to buy one of these cleansing balms! Apparently the cleansing balm is "hot" at the moment, and every cool brand is making their own cleansing balm. Having recently scored a generous trial kit from Trilogy, I thought I would go with this brand (not to mention that it comes with an ORGANIC muslin cloth too!) With sunflower seed oil, olive oil and coconut oil as the first three ingredients, it sounds good enough to eat. Antipodes Aura Manuka Honey Mask 75mL RRP $49 Going with a bit of a New Zealand theme here, I have a few Antipodes products and I like each of them! I have been watching this manuka honey mask for a while, and unlike a lot of the other skincare in the market (for example, there's a brand calls one of its products "rosehip treatment oil" and sells it for $40, but in fact the bulk of it is sunflower seed oil), Antipodes actually is capable of getting the name of this mask right. It is a real manuka honey mask, with manuka honey active 20+ as the second ingredient (the first being water, and I can live with that). Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse 100mL RRP $39.95 Even having heard many good things about this oil, I have been too reluctant to try this oil at its full price of $39.95 (no matter how adorable the bottle is). So at 40% off, it is the perfect chance to try this luxurious product which claims to have "one bottle sold every 6 seconds". A nice blend of plant oils and fatty acids in this bottle, and claims to be suitable for face, body and hair. I can't wait to put this into test!

Sukin Certified Organic Rose Hip Oil 25mL RRP $19.99

This is currently the only certified organic product from the entire Sukin range, and also my only bottle of rose hip oil! Just to clarify, not that I am slow in catching up with the rose-hip-oil-is-so-amazing-hype, I have tried rose hip oil a decade ago but I broke out to it. Now that my skin has changed (aka AGED) it is not so sensitive to oil content anymore, so I am giving it another go.

NIP+FAB Glycolic Fix Night Pads Extreme 60s RRP $34.99

I received a sample of Glycolic Fix Cleansing Pads in the Priceline Goody Bag in June and enjoyed using it. It made my skin feels clean and fresh but with only 5 pads I am yet to see any exfoliating result. So I wandered into Priceline hoping to purchase the same cleansing pads but then I saw these "extreme" strength pads. Once I read that they are of the same price, my cheap-arse instinct kicked in. Of course I get more value out of the extreme version - it's a no-brainer - even if it means they may be too strong for my skin (ouch!).

Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips 6s RRP $5.99 & Ultra Deep cleansing Pore Strips 6s RRP $7.29

Pore strip is the most satisfying (and gross) beauty invention ever. Biore was the first brand and the best brand that I've used. When I was in front of the shelf I was confronted with two options - Deep cleansing and Ultra deep cleansing - decision... decision (thank God the charcoal version was out of stock!). Now they are not the same price so it's not a no-brainer. I couldn't decide, so I've got both.

Just as I arrived home with all my precious beauty buys in my hands, I discovered last quarter's Priceline voucher of $12.8 was delivered by the postman, today. Oh well, it could mean another Priceline trip, as the sale does not end until 4 August 2016.
